It is our aim to give you the user control over what you want to share and who all gets to see it. At MOBOW, Your privacy and your personal data is very important to us. We adhere to some very important principles to protect your privacy personal data and we are thoroughly committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of personal information about our users.
MOBOW Inc. (“MOBOW”) provides its service and related mobile client software through our website located at http://www.mobow.com (the “Site”). The service, software and Site are collectively referred to in this Agreement as the “Service”. We are pleased to provide this privacy policy to inform you of our practices with respect to how we collect and use personally identifiable information through our products, services, and websites that refer to this Privacy Policy.
What We Collect
The data that we collect about visitors to the Site and users of the software (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages accessed, duration of visit, etc.) does not necessarily enable us to personally identify you, and that is not our intention. However, when you sign up with MOBOW, we only ask you for data essential to the service. All of your data is kept confidential, and we will under no circumstances rent, sell or otherwise share your data with any third party. MOBOW will not use your data for advertising purposes without your express consent. MOBOW will also not email/spam or otherwise use the contact details in your address book in any way to send information to your contact list. Note that the personally identifiable information about you, such as your name and phone number is necessary for providing the service, but only if you voluntarily provide it by registering with us for using the Service.
Automated-Collection and Use of Information
MOBOW may automatically collect certain types of information when you access or use the Service. We may collect information about your mobile device (e.g., phone number, type, serial number, operating systems), the version of the MOBOW software you are using (e.g., type and version), and about your use of the Service (e.g., time-stamped log of data exchanges). In order to collect this data, MOBOW may utilize our software and other automated tools and files such as “cookies.” These automated tools and files may reside on our servers or on your computer or device. If you disable our ability to use automated tools and files, your ability to access and use all or part of the Service may be limited or disabled completely. This collection of data is imperative to providing you with the Service.You may choose to provide optional profile information such as your real name, photo, date of birth, profile description, location and other information which may be collected and displayed on your public profile or made available to other linked contacts. It is your choice to post content (for example, notes or photos) and make it publicly available. You are solely responsible for the content you post. It is also your choice to reveal your location and make it publicly available. You are solely responsible for managing your location information and privacy modes.Please manage your own mobile and profile privacy preferences on the MOBOW Services, on an ongoing basis, accordingly.
Use of Information
MOBOW uses your personally identifiable information to provide you with the Service and to provide customized content on the Service that is of relevance and interest to you. Note that the primary use of this information is to verify the authenticity of the person accessing the services and that they have the authority to access the Service. Any contact information may be used to reach you when reasonably necessary. MOBOW may also use any information you have provided as reasonably necessary to administer or provide customer support for the Service.
Disclosure of information
MOBOW offers use or access to separate third party products which are complementary in nature to its services. These may beadvertised by us on our site (MOBOW.com).The services may include access to other websites or other mobile sites including but not limited to applications purchased for your phone. These product providers will not be given your personal information without your permission. In addition to the forgoing, MOBOW will disclose your personally identifiable information as it believes is reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation or other governmental authority or to prevent harm to yourself or others. MOBOW may also contract with various third parties who help us provide and maintain the Service. For example, we use a third party for data storage and may subcontract out production, fulfillment, or other operations. In these cases, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent such third parties from disclosing your personally identifiable information, except for the purpose of providing the services in question. Additionally, as part of the Service, MOBOW will make your public page or public content when available to other users of the service that you have accepted friendships with, and who follow your publicly posted content. Users can control public page or public content availability and publishing through their Account Settings. Finally, MOBOW may disclose your personally identifiable information upon a transfer or sale to another entity of all or substantially all of MOBOW’s stock or assets in MOBOW’s line of business to which this Privacy Policy relates or upon any bankruptcy or other corporate reorganization.
Links & Third Party Services
To provide you with enhanced features, and for your convenience, we may provide links to certain third party websites or referrals to certain third parties’ products or services. If you choose to visit a third party’s website or use its products or services, please be aware that the third party’s privacy policy, and not the MOBOW privacy policy, will govern your activities and any information you disclose while interacting with the third party.
Links to other contacts
Note that you can send an invite or email to people on the contact list in your phone to get them to join your connected network. Also note that if decide to join MOBOW and one of your contacts is already a MOBOW user and also have you in their mobile phone address books, our software will automatically recognize that and autolink the two of you.
Security
In the event that you place an order through the Service, your credit card information will be encrypted using SSL technology before being transmitted over the internet. Because any other personally identifiable information you submit to MOBOW is purely voluntary and should not be of a particularly sensitive nature, we employ our standard security measures with respect to this information and do not use special encryption methods at this time. MOBOW user accounts are secured by user-created passwords and standard secure data transfer protocols when signing in. Please note that MOBOW cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
Public Forums
MOBOW may make available to users chat rooms, forums, message boards, and other interactive features either through the Services or through third-party links, sites or applications. Any information disclosed in these areas, or otherwise submitted to MOBOW for publication, becomes public information and is no longer within the shield of this privacy statement. Use extreme caution when disclosing personal information through any of the above-mentioned communication mechanisms.
Collection of Information From Children
Users must be 13 years of age or older to create an account and use the Services. MOBOW has no interest in collecting information from persons under 13 years of age.
International visitors and customers will need to consult their own country’s laws and regulations concerning the accessibility and usage of the Services. Please see the section on International Visitors and Customers below.
Policy Changes
MOBOW reserves the right to change this privacy policy, and will post any revisions on the Site. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of the Site will be subject to the then-current privacy policy.
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information
MOBOW offers you the ability to review and change certain of the information you submit to us by logging into the Site and accessing account settings. Upon your request, we will deactivate your account, and remove your personal information from our active databases. To make this request, email support@MOBOW.com. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible based on your account activity and in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law. We will retain in our files and databases some personal information you have requested to remove to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law.
International Visitors and Customers
The Site is hosted in the United States. The mobile client software is also for users within the United States. Please note that if you do use the Services and that if you are visiting from the European Union (EU) or other regions with laws governing accessibility, usage, data collection, retention and use that may differ from U.S. law. Please also note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States which does not have the same data protection laws as the EU and by providing your personal data you consent to:

No Error-Free Performance
MOBOW does not guarantee error-free performance under this Privacy Policy. We may not always catch an unintended privacy issue, despite our efforts to do so. Legal Notices
This Privacy Policy is subject to the terms in our Terms of Service, available for review at http://www.MOBOW.com/about/terms, including terms regarding limitations on damages, disclaimers of warranties, and resolution of disputes. Our Terms of Service take precedence over any conflicting provision in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding any conflicts of law principles.
